Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and the Word.
The following are requirements for baptisms at All Saints:
Contact the Pastoral Office at 972.661.9282 to register for the baptismal preparation class.
Classes are scheduled as shown below. Unless noted, classes are held in the St. Theresa Room (
Baptism Preparation Classes – 2010-2011
September 18th
October 16th
NO class in November
December 4th
January 15th
February 19th
March 19th
April 16th
May 21st
June 18th
NO classes in July and August
Classes are in the St. Theresa Room, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Complete the Baptismal Preparation Class Registration Form and forward to ihorn@allsaintsdallas.org or bring to the Parish Office. At least one parent must attend the class.
After completion of the Baptismal Preparation class, contact the Parish Office to schedule the baptism.
Complete Baptismal Registration Form.
Requirements: copy of birth certificate, confirmation of attending a baptism class, if not taken at all Saints.
All of the above documents must be submitted prior to the actual baptism.
Baptisms are normally scheduled on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. If you would prefer the baptism during a mass, or would prefer a private baptism, please contact the Parish Office.
