Welcome to the website of the All Saints Catholic Community of the Diocese of Dallas.  Reverend Alfonse Nazzaro is our Pastoral Administrator. Dr. Laura McCorkle is the Principal of our school. You are invited to join us at Mass, worship and other activities found on our calendar.

  Welcome Fr. Jovita Obiora Okoli

Rev. Jovita Obiora Okoli was born toward the end of the tragic civil war in Nigeria, in a small town (Akpugoeze) in Enugu State (Nigeria). He is the oldest of 5 children, (4 boys and a girl). Both parents of Fr. Jovita were teachers and practicing Catholics. It was his parents who brought him close to God and the Church and helped him develop the love for Catholic priesthood. Unfortunately, his father did not live to see him achieve his vocation, as he died in 1981.

Fr. Jovita's journey to the priesthood began at the age of eleven, as he entered the minor seminary. After completing his studies in the seminary, Fr. Jovita was ordained a Catholic priest August 24, 1996, for the Catholic Diocese of Awka, Nigeria. He was 26 years old at ordination.

His first assignment after ordination was in the diocesan Spiritual Year Center as a formator. He was sent for graduate studies and returned to serve as one of the secretaries to his diocesan Bishop.

In 2006, with the permission of the Catholic Bishop of Awka, he moved to Detroit, Michigan. He worked for the Archdiocese. After six years of Detroit's cold weather, in 2012 Fr. Jovita came to the Diocese of Dallas, with the permission of his Bishop.

Fr. Jovita looks forward to meeting and working with our All Saints Community and prays that God in His mercy will continue to guide His people in the right ways.
